The Flex Controller is an innovative solution in the world of accessible gaming, allowing players to use external switches and joysticks to play video games on the Nintendo Switch (in TV mode) as well as on a Windows 10 or 11 PC . This makes it possible to fully customize the gaming experience to the user’s needs. Please note: the Flex Controller can only be used with a docked Nintendo Switch – it is not compatible with the Switch Lite or handheld mode. All switches with a 3.5 mm jack are compatible, such as the Smoothie 75 and Smoothie 125 from Pretorian and the Adaptive Gaming Kit from Logitech. For joysticks, the Optima Joystick and certain Hori controllers are currently compatible (see list below). Other models, such as the Ultra Joystick , will be supported in the near future. With the free Flex Controller Settings app for Windows, you can configure every switch and joystick individually. You get access to advanced settings such as dual pressure intervals, filters against unintentional repeated presses (in case of tremors), and fully adjustable joystick sensitivity and orientation. You can save up to 12 profiles (6 for Switch and 6 for PC), which you can easily recall when needed. Finally, the Flex Controller is easy to mount via a 1/4” screw point on the back – convenient for use on a wheelchair or table mount.
