The Optima Joystick is a compact and ergonomic alternative to the traditional mouse, designed for users who struggle with fine motor skills. Thanks to its lightweight control mechanism and low profile, this joystick is particularly suitable for a wide range of users – both on PC and on game consoles (via compatible adapters or systems). This precise and robust joystick responds to a minimal force of just 0.5 Newton, making it extremely sensitive to the lightest touch. This makes it ideal for controlling a cursor or aiming precisely within software or games. Furthermore, the natural palm rest ensures long-lasting comfort. The Optima Joystick is fully plug-and-play , requiring no driver installation – ideal for controlled environments such as schools, healthcare facilities, or businesses. It supports both USB and PS/2 , and automatically switches between the protocols. Users can choose from four different speed settings with an audible signal, and thanks to the special ‘drag’ function, it is possible to hold longer mouse clicks, which is useful when dragging or selecting. For those working with external switches, two 3.5 mm jacks are provided allowing left and right mouse clicks to be controlled remotely. Color-coded, sub-flush mounted buttons help to avoid accidental clicks.
