The SimplyWorks SEND is a versatile, wireless transmitter that makes any standard switch – such as a foot switch , sip/puff switch , or pushpin switch – part of the SimplyWorks ecosystem . Unlike the SimplyWorks Switches, SEND is not built into a physical switch, but is intended to make any 3.5 mm latchable switch wireless. Simply connect a switch to the SEND’s 3.5 mm port, pair it with a SimplyWorks receiver (such as the Receive, Control, or Energise), and your switch operates completely wirelessly – up to a distance of 10 meters . This makes the system extremely flexible for a wide range of applications such as computer control, communication aids, or turning devices on and off via SimplyWorks Energise . When used for computer control, you can easily set the function of the connected switch via the integrated LED display and the built-in keys. Think of actions such as the left mouse click , the spacebar, or other keyboard commands. The SEND runs on 2 AAA batteries , which last a particularly long time thanks to the automatic power saving system . As with all Pretorian products, ease of use is a priority: there is no on/off button – the device automatically switches to sleep mode upon inactivity.
